The Avez Heavy Down Jacket is all about warmth and protection. Named after the massive Cima Avez and inspired by our iconic Ortles Heavy Down alpine mountaineering jacket, it provides natural comfort and maximum performance in a contemporary design.
Weatherproof protection
The durable, ripstop, 2-layer PU-coated Powertex waterproof shell will keep even the worst weather out. It's treated with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish. In addition, the high-quality, soft-touch outer fabric is bluesign® approved and manufactured to ensure the lowest possible impact on people and the environment.

High-quality 750 RDS down fill
Inside, the high-quality, 750 fill power 90/10 pure duck down offers enhanced thermal insulation inside a comfortable, downproof lining. The zoned 3D down box chamber construction positions and keeps the insulation exactly where you need it most and enhances the loft. Meanwhile, the ergonomic sleeves and shoulders ensure a good fit and full freedom of movement. What's more, the generous longer cut length and athletic fit provide good freedom of movement for a big jacket. Our Responsible Down Standard approved down comes from independently audited and traceable sources to help ensure that the birds are not live-plucked or force-fed.
Stormproof spec
The Avez Heavy Down Jacket has a down-padded, helmet-compatible hood with a zippered gusset and full adjustment that ensures it fits precisely whether you are wearing a helmet or not. There is a cosy, high collar integrated into the hood for full storm protection. The front zip is backed with a windproof flap to keep cold draughts out and its 2-way design comes in handy if you start to overheat or want easy access to your layers. The sleeves are finished with a gusset construction and hook & loop closure to provide extra width to tuck in your gloves. At the hem, cord locks seal in warmth to help maintain core body temperature. With two large stretch inner pockets and two zip-secure outer pockets.
